Warranty Policy

One Call Enterises, Inc. (One Call) will repair, free of charge, defects in workmanship performed under a Bid Proposal (Proposal) for one hundred and eighty (180) days from the date work is completed and Customer has been billed. Warranty is for labor only, and does not apply to materials, material failure, manufacturers recommended use, manufacturer's warranty, customer negligence, normal wear and tear, acts of God, or a change in the Customer’s mind. Warranty becomes effective when the Customer is billed for work and complete payment has been credited to One Call’s account. If full payment of all amounts due is not received within 30 days of invoice, no warranty work will be performed until full payment has been credited to One Call's account. In all cases, after full payment is made, the effective start date the warranty period will begin is the date Customer is billed.

Customer is to provide One Call a single punch list withing 15 days of completion of the job. One Call will perform all repairs/work on said punch list (Work), assuming the original work was bid and completed by One Call. Once the Work is completed, no additional work will be performed until full payment for the job is made. If no punch list is provided within this time specified, One Call will assume the job is accepted as is.

Warranty work does not extend the original warranty period. Incomplete payment or separate payment(s) made to a craftsman, for any reason, voids the warranty. One Call has the right to refund a portion of the cost in lieu of work completion or warranty work. Warranty work is to be performed by the original craftsman, if available. If the Customer or Customer’s contractor modifies work performed by One Call in any way, the warranty is void. Neither the warranty nor the Bid Proposal are transferable. All claims must be accompanied by the original Bid Proposal.

If exterior doors are repaired or installed, no warranty will be extended on any exterior door unit that is damage caused by not providing adequate protection of the unit from the elements. Adequate protection includes, but is not limited to an overhang extending out at least three-quarters the distance from the bottom of the door to the bottom of where the overhang begins and extending at least 3 feet (3') past both sides of the opening. More overhang may be necessary in areas with extreme weather conditions, to adequately protect the door. Proper overhang significantly decreases the chance of warping, checking and decontamination caused by the sun and precipitation. An example would be a 5' porch or overhang is required over an 6'8" high door unit.

Estimates are usually for labor only and do not include materials. If materials are supplied by One Call, the manufacturer's warranty will apply to the material supplied. Customer may supply materials or may request One Call purchase and transport materials (at additional Markup and delivery cost). One Call reserves the right to approve Customer supplied materials. Customer must approve all materials supplied by One Call prior to use.

Customer agrees to reimburse One Call for all materials purchased or supplied, plus a markup of 30% (Markup) on any material allowance included in the original Bid Proposal, but supplied by a vendor who is not a wholesale supplier of One Call. All materials supplied by a wholesale supplier of One Call, will be supplied at the retail price provided by that supplier. If appliances are provided, since they are fair traded, a 20% markup will apply. If more material is required than that shown in the Bid Proposal, Customer agrees to reimburse One Call at the same rate shown above or the retail price, whichever applies.

Materials may also include but are not limited to: consumable tools (like sandpaper), tool rental, delivery charges, dump fees, etc. If materials are purchased by One Call, in accordance with customer specifications and agreement, and customer decides to change or return materials, then a restocking fee of 25% will apply. If materials are of a special order nature, no return is allowed.

One Call provides no warranty on materials and no reimbursement for any materials will be made under any circumstances for materials supplied by Customer.

If materials are found to be defective due to no fault of One Call, additional cost may be required to replace the defective materials.

All selections relative to style, color, texture, etc. are the sole responsibility of the Customer. One Call does not guarantee matching of existing paint, wall texture, stain, tile, caulk, grout, texture, finish, brick, mortar, etc. Paint color, finish and sheen vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and selection of the type and color of paint is the sole responsibility of Customer. Unless otherwise stated on Bid Proposal, estimates are for two coats of paint only. If walls, ceiling, cabinets or trim require more than two coats of paint, additional costs will apply.

Permits, utility flagging, and debris removal are the sole responsibility of Customer unless otherwise stated on the Bid Proposal.

All changes to the Bid Proposal must be made by written change order signed by the Customer (Change Order). If hidden problems are discovered during the job, the craftsman will stop all work and rebid the job. If rebid is required, no work will continue until Customer agrees to the additional work in writing, change order is signed by the Customer and full payment is made for the Change Order. If Customer authorizes work and does not agree to such work by written Change Order, then no warranty will be extended for that work and customer, not One Call, takes full responsibility for any breakage, damage, material and workmanship for such work.

Bid Proposals are valid for 30 days and are based on the craftsman assigned to do the work. Another Bid Proposal will be required if the craftsman is unavailable for any reason. If the craftsman’s association with One Call terminates or he becomes unavailable or the Customer requests a different craftsman, either the Customer or One Call may cancel the contract, and payment will be due based on the work completed. Any deposit made on a Bid Proposal will be deemed earned upon payment of such deposit and not refunds will be made.

If any disputes other than nonpayment by the Customer arise and are not resolved, the Customer agrees to use binding arbitration. The prevailing party agrees to pay all collection fees, legal fees, and court costs resulting from any dispute between the parties.

This warranty supersedes all other previous agreements, and advertisements, written or oral. There are no other warranty’s/guarantee’s expressed or implied and there is no liability for consequential damages of any kind. Any representations made by the craftsman other than those set forth on this Warranty are hereby disclaimed by One Call.

Customer’s signature on the Bid Proposal authorizes One Call and it's craftsman to begin work. Payment in full is due at completion of work authorized under the Bid Proposal. Customer's signature on Bid Proposal indicates Customer understands the scope of work. Once the Customer pays the final invoice, Customer indicates that thay have inspected and accepted the quality and completion of all work performed.

A surcharge of $50 will be assessed on all return checks.

This warranty is non-negotiable.
